Frequently Asked Questions
How long do YUMMICLAWS press-on nails last?
With proper prep and nail glue, between 1 and 3 weeks of continuous wear. With sticky tabs, 1 to 3 days. Prep is the biggest factor — nails that are buffed, cleaned with alcohol, and have cuticles pushed back will always outlast nails that skip those steps.
Will press-on nails damage my natural nails?
Not if you remove them correctly. The soak method in our removal guide is safe for your natural nail plate. Damage comes from peeling or forcing nails off, not from wearing them.
Can I reuse my YUMMICLAWS set?
Yes. Every set is handmade from soft acrylic and finished with gel polish specifically because these materials hold up to repeated wear. Remove carefully using the soak method, clean off any glue residue with a nail file, and store in the original YUMMICLAWS box. With proper care your sets are built to last a lifetime.
How do I know which size to order?
Our sizing guide walks you through two measuring methods you can do at home with a tape measure or a strip of paper. YUMMICLAWS sets come in XS, S, M, and L. If you are between sizes, go larger — you can always file the edges slightly for a closer fit.
Does humidity affect how long press-on nails last?
It can. In Malaysia and Singapore, higher humidity means more surface moisture on your nails before application. The buffing and alcohol wipe steps in our prep guide matter even more here than in drier climates. A thorough prep session makes the biggest difference in wear time.
